Kindness

Small acts of kindness can go a long way!

For us at Mindful little Things, it has always been the Little Things that spark the most joy.

Being aware of the Little Things makes life feel that much more special!

And this is one of the many reasons we named our company Mindful Little Things!

Being kind is one of those Little Things.

It is about celebrating someone else's success, it's about being considerate, helpful and friendly. Being kind is a feel good moment for both the giver and receiver!

As educators of children we are all constantly providing examples of positive interactions with others as we go about our daily lives. When we share items, thoughts or kind worlds, children will mimic these actions.

It is equally as important for us to acknowledge when they are making kind choices by labelling the action, as it would be to correct an unwanted action. “That was so kind of you to share your peach.” or “That was very considerate of you to bring an extra one for your friend.”

The best thing about kindness is that there are so many ways to experience and share it with others!

Kindness can mean helping the planet, think: reduce, reuse and recycle!

You can make a stranger, your best friend or an animal feel special. It brings people and communities together. It supports mental health, and it feels good!
